About me

I’m a reporter, producer, and editor primarily covering climate and the environment. I spent the last year as a 2025-26 Ted Scripps Fellow in Environmental Journalism at CU Boulder. Prior to the fellowship, I was the Special Projects Editor for the National Public Radio show 1A, where my work was heard by 4+ million listeners each week. I edited scripts, digital stories, and managed 1A’s special on-air series and partnerships. I led 1A’s Remaking America project and was previously half of 1A’s Across America team, producing on-air broadcasts, field reports, and audience engagement events. I came to NPR by way of southern Virginia, where I was a local newspaper reporter covering breaking news and education. I was raised in the Colorado Rockies and I spent my undergrad years at the College of William & Mary.
